My first experience of yoga came about on a dreary January morning in 2001. I clearly remember feeling a sense of inner calmness after my first class. I felt uplifted & walked taller both physically & mentally. I knew yoga was going to be a faithful friend in my life!
22 years later and yoga is still a constant in my life. It has eased away the niggling lower back pain I had suffered with for many years. It has become my touch stone, helping me to make some sense of the chaotic world we live in...
Through yoga I have become a calmer, happier more confident person. Yoga is a great leveller.
In 2012 I gained my teaching qualification with The British School of Yoga.
My goal is to share all the many wonderful benefits which practising Hatha yoga brings, in welcoming, uplifting classes. I hope that yoga will prove to be a faithful friend to you too!
It was through Yoga I experienced my first Gong bath 7 years ago. Since then I have been hooked.... the experience was profound, taking me into an effortless, meditative state. Incredibly relaxing & calming .... the aftermath of the session left me literally BUZZING!!!... I felt amazing, energised, with a sense of inner contentment & clarity in my headspace.
Having such positive results time & time again, led me to start my training as a Sound Therapist in 2020...... Now BUZZING (almost) daily!!!
I am qualified with The College of Sound Healing (COSH) as a Gong Practitioner. Offering both group & one to one Gong bath Sound Meditation sessions, working with gongs, singing bowls, & a variety of other sound healing instruments.
