Yoga orignated in India some 5,ooo years ago & is still going strong! It is one of the oldest holistic health care systems.

Yoga helps to increase both our phyiscal & mental wellbeing. It teaches us to work in unity with our bodies & minds.

Calmness of the mind leads to less tension in the body, which in turn brings more contentment to the soul.

Yoga can be totally liberating, giving us the opportunity to reconnect & tune into the true essence of ourselves, which often gets layered over in our hectic lives.

Yoga is a very personal practise, with each individual gaining a different experience. This can vary from strengthening the body, increasing stamina and concerntration. For others it could be aiding recovery of a physical condition, or learning how to let go & relax.

Yoga is for everyone, regardless of age & ability, & is as challenging as you want it to be.

The only thing you need to start yoga are comfy clothes, & willingness to give it a whril!
