The programme aims to foster strength, balance & coordination in the elderly & cardiac patients.
Deep breathing & mental focus practised during the sessions can offset stress, worry & depression, which often follow a cardiac event. Yoga can help to manage this stress.
Regular practise of yoga can help to build confidence. Bring positivity to negative thought patterns, helping the individual to deal with an ongoing condition by reinstalling motivation & giving a general sense of wellbeing. 
 
The Yoga session duration is 60 minutes.
 
Included in each session are:
 
Yoga poses & exercises –these can be practised either on a yoga mat or in a chair. 
 
Breathing techniques.
 
Moving meditations.
 
Guided relaxations.
